1. Service Description

IAS Ready is an AI-powered evaluation platform designed specifically for UPSC aspirants. Our service provides comprehensive analysis and feedback on answer scripts to help candidates improve their writing skills and examination performance.

The platform is operated by TechAscend and provides technological tools for UPSC examination preparation, including but not limited to answer evaluation, feedback generation, and performance analytics.

2. User Eligibility and Account Terms

To use IAS Ready, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain only one account per person
  • Keep your account credentials confidential

3. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Activities

Users agree to:

  • Use the service only for legitimate UPSC preparation purposes
  • Upload only their own original answer scripts or content they have rights to
  • Respect intellectual property rights of IAS Ready and third parties
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Users are prohibited from:

  • Using automated tools to access or scrape the platform
  • Sharing account credentials with others
  • Uploading inappropriate, offensive, or copyrighted content
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or compromise platform security
  • Violating any local, state, national, or international laws
  • Harassing other users or platform administrators

4. Payment Terms and Credits

IAS Ready operates on a credit-based system:

  • Credits are required to access evaluation services
  • New users receive 200 free credits upon registration
  • Additional credits can be purchased through our platform
  • Credit prices are clearly displayed and subject to change with notice
  • All purchases are processed securely through third-party payment processors
  • Credits do not expire unless account is inactive for more than 12 months

5. Intellectual Property

IAS Ready and its licensors own all rights to the platform, including:

  • Software, algorithms, and AI evaluation technology
  • Platform design, user interface, and user experience
  • Evaluation frameworks and feedback methodologies
  • Educational content and assessment criteria

Users retain ownership of their uploaded content but grant IAS Ready a limited license to process, analyze, and provide feedback on such content for service delivery purposes.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms of Service.

By using IAS Ready, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Service Availability and Modifications

IAS Ready strives to provide reliable service but:

  • Service availability is not guaranteed and may be interrupted
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
  • Maintenance and updates may temporarily affect service availability
  • We reserve the right to improve and update our evaluation algorithms

8. Limitation of Liability

IAS Ready provides educational feedback and analysis. Our liability is limited as follows:

  • Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee specific exam results or performance improvements
  • Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for credits in the past 12 months
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Some jurisdictions may not allow these limitations

9. Account Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship:

  • Users may delete their account at any time through account settings
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms
  • Remaining credits will be handled according to our Refund Policy
  • Certain provisions survive account termination (privacy, intellectual property)

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved through:

  • First attempt at good faith negotiation
  • Mediation if negotiation fails
  • Courts in Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction
  • Indian law applies without regard to conflict of law principles

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. When we do:

  • We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
  • Users who disagree with changes may terminate their account
